Extremely robust, compact, efficient and highly accurate over the entire operating temperature range: These are the outstanding features, characterizing CSM’s measurement modules. They have been setting technological standards for many years now, particularly in the field of distributed measurement technology. To this aim, CSM makes use of various technical concepts. CAN measurement modules have proven themselves for more than 15 years. CAN mea-surement modules are in continuous operation worldwide and ensure an uncomplicated measuring of temperatures, voltages, mechanical strain, rotational speed, etc.

With the EtherCAT®-based MiniModules, CSM offers measurement technology for applications that go beyond the requirements of CAN bus performance capabilities. ECAT measurement modules thus enable synchronous high-speed measurements with data rates of up to 1000 kHz per channel as well as multi-channel applica-tions, e.g. with over 1000 strain gauge points of measure-ments and/or acceleration sensors.

To cover the increasing demand for safe measurement in demanding high-voltage (HV) applications, CSM has extended its portfolio by a huge number of measurement systems for almost all types of sensors and measurement ranges. The CSM HV measurement systems enable the safe and precise acquisition of analog signals and tem-peratures in HV environments, particularly in electric and hybrid vehicles.
