Stress this. Score, crew stats, nothing more. Comments are only used at Assignor direction and will apply to suspended games. Don’t hesitate to list crew members or yourself as late. Assignor and the Board will sort that out given the traffic, weather, and any other extenuating situations on any given day. We understand that folks get told at work that they need to stay for a meeting or some such. Assignor will provide top cover for reasonable situations, if he knows what is going on.

Sportsmanship ratings start at 40, with deductions as noted. This rating is a crew decision. Don’t decide on your own. Get input. If you deduct a few points for fan, coach, or player conduct please explain in remarks. Remarks should be concise, precise, and clear. Don’t leave the Commissioner guessing. A good practice is to reread for clarity before you publish.

Good idea to always have your gear handy. If Assignor gets in trouble and needs immediate help he will send out a quick “all hands” alert. Note that there is a fine for late reports. Seldom needed, but if Assignor has to prompt more than once he gets irritable.
