The program should provide long lasting effects and pave the way for future trading opportunities between the two countries. This creating new viable business ventures.
AN INVITATION
For some years a group of Danish business executives and advisors in the food sector have been in close contact with representatives at Embajada de Cuba in Copenhagen and together researched opportunities for cross-country benefits. There has been a number of fruitfull meetings, FIHAV participation in 2011
and company visits, all to shape personal relations and discuss ideas for future collaboration. The concept behind the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Food Program Cuba Denmark grew out of these visionary talks.

To build a commercial highway between Denmark and Cuba for mutual benefice To raise the awareness of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) among nations and people
THE VISION
To move an agenda for increased self-supply of foods in Cuba
To inspire and support talented Cuban students to enter the farm and food sector
To create a platform for experiments and pilot plants for local food innovation og production To transfer Danish knowledge in farming, food production and agro technology into a Cuban setting
PROGRAM GOALS
1. Developing and running a new agricultural education as a joint degree between Dalum Agricultural College and a Cuban Agricultural partner
