Strengthen supplemental support services for undergraduates and graduates that:

Retention and Graduation Support

The Student Success Fee provides: • New staff advisors to support and

complement faculty advising. As a complement faculty advising. As a result, all students, especially first-time freshmen, transfer, new graduate and undeclared students, will receive advisement that saves them time to degree, and therefore, tuition. For 2012-13, the student to advisor ratio will be reduced from 608:1 to 453:1.

• With this fee increase, CSULA’s annual costs will still remain among the lowest in the CSU.

• As of 2011/2012 fiscal year, CSULA had the second lowest total of mandatory fees out of 23 CSU campuses.
