Please be informed of the nomination of Ms. Maria Louisa Guevarra-Cabreira to succeed Mr. Alberto M. de Larrazabal as our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for election at the organizational meeting of our Board of Directors immediately following our Annual Stockholders’ Meeting on April 20, 2021. Mr. Alberto M. de Larrazabal has been nominated to succeed Mr. Jose Teodoro K. Limcaoco as Chief Finance Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer of Ayala Corporation, for election at the next organizational meeting of Ayala Corporation’s Board of Directors immediately following Ayala Corporation’s Annual Stockholders’ Meeting on April 23, 2021.

Ms. Cabreira’s nomination was approved by our Board of Directors after review and endorsement by the Nomination and Governance Committee and is aligned with our process for management succession.

As CCO, Ms. Cabreira will provide oversight to the Commercial Businesses, Brand, and Marketing teams of Globe. She will be responsible for designing, integrating, and driving the execution of the different strategies of all Customer Facing Units in Globe. She will report to the President and Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. Cabreira has over 20 solid years of experience leading new and existing businesses. She has held various leadership roles in Globe. Under her watch, Globe rose to its No.1 position beginning 4Q of 2016, through optimum portfolio management across two key categories, postpaid and prepaid mobile. She is currently the Head of Globe’s Consumer Business Group, and formerly, the Managing Partner of 917Ventures. Prior to Globe, she held key brand and marketing roles at Kraft Foods, Philippines. She is a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Management.
