Our purpose with CSW-IT and our SMB brand eStore is to deliver technology products to every organisation in Australia.

Since our humble beginnings in 1991, we strive to provide our customers with $1.50 worth of value for every dollar we are paid and deliver with speed and reliability. Therefore we pioneered an operating model that allows us to be competitive in the long term – and preferred by especially small to medium sized organisations.

By the late 1990’s we were recognised to be the market leader in software licensing. In 2001 and 2003 we acquired two businesses increasing our expertise in hardware. Recognising the specialised needs of larger organisations, in 2006 we separated the “SMB” (now www.estore.com.au) and the “managed accounts” team under separate sales leadership with its own brand CSW-IT.

Early 2012 we relocated to a much larger facility with 30,000 ft2 warehouse, a large showroom and 14,000 ft2 office. This enables us to develop from a capable procurement specialist of hardware and software to an organisation that has increased ability and capacity for innovative services and solutions. In this summer edition of our new corporate catalogue, we present to you an outstanding array of technology and services that we believehave the ability to assist you on the path to innovative IT.

HP 3PAR StoreServ Informationevent

In late November last year, CSW-IT was invited to the launch of the new StoreServ 7400 from HP. Formally known as 3 PAR, HP acquired this technology in late 2009 for approx 3 billion $US.

Prior to the event we had been asked to enter a competition by HP to perform a pitch that would be judged by industry peers to win the new product and be the first HP partner in the country to own the brand new technology. I am delighted to announce that whilst competing against strong competition, CSW- IT was successful in winning the HP 3PAR StoreServ device. Therefore we now have the ability to demonstrate this technology to customers that are looking for the latest advancements in multi-tenanted, fully autonomic SANinfrastructure.

To celebrate the win and delivery of the new technology, CSW-IT hosted a dedicated HP 3PAR StoreServ event. You are able to provision IT resources in minutes not days or months. CSW-IT recommends HP virtual systems for Private cloud. This is currently the fastest growing segment of the cloud market and is very suited towards midmarket and enterprise customers who need to maintain control of their IT environment.

Hybrid: A combination of both public and private cloud offerings. Organisations are starting to outsource some of their IT functions to the cloud as they are now getting a better ROI from doing this than keeping the functionality within their own business. The most common functionality now being outsourced in a hybrid cloud environment is SaaS (Software as a Service).
