CITY STYLEKnown as “New York’s fashion play-ground,” Lester’s opened its first Connecticut storefront in Westport this past March. The first Lester’s set up shop in Brooklyn in 1948 and since then, three additional New York locations followed, but owners Perry Schorr and Barry Cohen say there have always been requests to come to Westport. Lester’s offers a wide variety of contemporary women’s clothing, carrying fashion apparel ranging from J Brand to Free People to Vince. 606 Post Rd. East, Westport, 203-221-0474, lesters.com.

BRIGHT HORIZONSAfter years of devotion to Circa Lighting, Sir Development has partnered with the decorative lighting showroom to illuminate some of Sir’s signature homes. What started as expert lighting advice from Circa to Sir led to a correspondence in February when the two companies decided to take the relationship to the next level. This culminated in the union of the two businesses, with five more projects on the way. Now the signature homes will shine with options by Circa’s expert lighting team. 943 Post Rd. East, Westport, 203-227-6616, sirdev.com; 21 West Putman Ave., Greenwich, 203-622-1904, circalighting.com.

CERAMIC SYNERGY Best known for his distinctive metalwork in home décor and jewelry, Michael Aram has teamed up with New England’s Artistic Tile for the tile and stone manufacturer’s first collaborative line of decorative tiles: the Michael Aram Collection by Artistic Tile. Debuted on June 14 at Artistic Tile’s flagship show-room in Manhattan, the glamorous line draws inspiration from Aram’s signa-ture collections, Molten, Botanical Leaf and Gotham. 38 West 21st St., NYC, artistictile.com, michaelaram.com.

ONLINE GOLDMINE The Local Vault, an online marketplace for consigned furniture and home décor, recently paired up with Apadana Fine Rugs to offer a curated collection. The web-exclusive shop features hand-selected inventory from private sellers, area retailers and antique dealers, showcasing an array of designer brands and a mix of traditional, modern, antique, vintage and new pieces for homeowners and savvy shoppers. Other partnerships, such as Circa Antiques, Schwartz Showroom and Rinfret, are in place to help move inventory out of warehouses and off showroom floors. 187 Sound Beach Ave., Old Greenwich, 203-409-7245, thelocalvault.com.

SENSATIONAL SLABSFrom its 14,000-square-foot warehouse and slab gallery to the 4,200-square-foot showroom, Walker Zanger’s move from Mt. Vernon to Port Chester has pro-vided the stone masters with an improved and efficient display for their slabs. The new Westchester County location allows easier access for Greenwich, Rye and Harrison residents, the space, a second-floor office and a spacious two-story lobby. 26 Midland Ave., Port Chester, NY, 914-667-1600, walkerzanger.com.
