What is EUquus ?

EUquus is an European project co-financed by the Competitive-ness and Innovation Framework Programme of the European Union with the aim of developing and di-versifying equestrian tourism. It is part of a sustainable deve-lopment process seeking to boost tourism in rural areas, and pur-sues a dual objective:• the set-up of a good practice

manual in order to improve the quality of equestrian tourism routes in Europe,

• the roll-out of a web platform to disseminate and promote Euro-pean equestrian tourism offe-rings.

The partnership involves public and private organisations, and 6 territories have committed to this quality procedure.

Diputació de Barcelona Local public administration. The esquestrian in Barcelona Province brings the opportunity for the economic and social development towards responsible, sustainable and quality destinations.

Fundació Destí Menorca Menorca is a very attractive destination due its numerous natural spaces and its historical and cultural heritage, offering visitors a rich array of horseback discoveries.

Provincia Di Salerno Thanks to important work by the Province, eques-trian sports associations, farms and volunteers, routes have been identified allowing tourists to ride around the entire territory of Salerno on horseback.

El Bronco Ranch This international riding centre in Hungary offers a wide range of equestrian activities (rides, excur-sions, etc.).
