Band News

The 8th grade band will perform at 9th grade home football games on September 1, 8, and 29. Band members will wear their full uniform to every game which includes their red band shirt tucked in, black pants, tall black socks, and black shoes with backs (no sandals or slip on shoes). All students should be in their chairs, ready for roll call with all materials at 6:00 P.M. in the junior high band room. 8th grade cheer and football will take their uniform to the stadium and change afterwards to perform with the band. All students should have a flip folder and lyre!

Selected students will participate in dramatic readings.

ALL students will display an English project.

Be Organized!Try using a calendar to help keep track of test and

project due dates, reading deadlines, and assignments (We can print this for you, just ask!)

* Create a weekly study schedule that incorporates homework and studying time with any extracurricular

activities* Do a weekly backpack organization and cleanout.

Check binders and folders to be sure it contains only the subject that is labeled

* Consider using a “homework” folder for things that need to be completed and returned
