Cuba has formal relations with 160 nations, and supplies civilian assistance to 20 others, mostly medicalin nature. Many Cuban doctors are very willing to leaveCuba.

Perhaps that is is because many physicians in Cuba make as little as $30 a month…

Although the E.U. has serious humanitarian issueswith Castro’s regime, it maintains favorable trade relations with Cuba.

China, Russia, and Iran, among others, have goodrelations with Cuba. China and Russia are bothdiscussing the possibility of putting military basesin Cuba…
