FOSTER SELF-CONFIDENT LEADERS Promoting positive interaction among students of different ages helps children build self-confidence, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Younger students are motivated to “do what the big kids do.” Older students blossom as they take on age-appropriate leadership responsibilities. FOLLOW A STEP-BY-STEP PATH TO LEARNING Westwood’s path for learning is designed for each stage of a child’s development. Our teachers work closely with each child in our Lower School to identify and foster their natural inter- ests. This prepares older students to “excel in their studies and personal development” 1 as part of Westwood’s International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
