Japanese Subcultures Many of Japan’s subcultures have to do with fashion styles. Lolita, Gyaru, and Bosozoku were some of the biggest styles over the past few decades. The Punk style has also influenced a lot of Japanese fashion.

Japanese SubculturesKigurumin was quiet strange style whose popularity had the speed of a lightning. Girls adhered to this trend wore cheap animal costumes that they used to purchase in the departments where different stuff for parties was sold. They also carried animal shape purses, accessories and wore manba makeup.

Would I want to live here? I would honestly like to

live in Japan for a while or at least visit. One of my favorite producers is from Japan and it would be interesting to see where he got his start. The only reason I am reluctant is because of the earthquakes there. I'm not down with that.

What do I like about this culture?

I really liked hearing the old Japanese tales of The Samurai's, the Shoguns, and Ninja. In general, I just like about everything about this culture. The whole history of it is just interesting.

Would I like to live here?I would say that I would like to live in this culture. Peru, & South America for the matter has a very interesting culture. It’s like a melting pot. If I can’t live there, I would definetly like to visit for a while.

What do I like about this culture?

Just like with Japan, I like a lot about the culture as a whole. One of the thing I liked most about the culture was the food.
