I’m sure all the “new” Kinders feel right at home and some nice (or not so nice) routines have begun to flow at your place. It was great to see our Student Leaders being inducted last Friday. Many thanks to Mr Presland, Meg Christensen and Samantha Selby for coming along and giving us some insight into leadership in the High School Years. Thanks to Mrs North, who helped to coordinate all the preparations. It is an important event which will be remembered. Good luck to our competitors in the Zone Swimming Carnival this week. I’m sure we will have success and our reputation for good sports and great competitors will continue. Mr Bourke will be attending as will a number of parents who are able to make the trip. Good Luck! Our school has been selected to take part in a NSW DEC program that will ask for your views on a large range of areas affecting school this year. The “Tell Them From Me” program provides online surveys for children, staff and parents to fill out and is totally confidential and you can choose not to participate if you wish. All results are sent away to be analysed and reports sent back to the school. This is a great opportunity for us to learn more and work closely with everyone with a common goal in mind. The student surveys will be conducted over March, with parent and teacher surveys later in the year. A separate information sheet and consent form will be sent home this week. Your prompt return of these would be appreciated.
