Developer and editor of the Preschool Quarterly, a magazine for teachers of young children. This magazine was published from 1969-1979 and had a circulation of approximately 3,000.

Co-authored with Ann Hertzler booklet Teaching your child good eating habits forlLife. The publication won the Gold Leaf Award from Family Circle Magazine in 1975.

Developed (authored all material) non-credit correspondence course, Those important preschool years. This course, distributed by the Center for Independent Study Through Correspondence, was adopted for nationwide use with the Extension Service sponsored Expanded Food and Nutrition Program.

Co-authored with Jill Hastings non-credit Extension self-study course, Pre-marital expectations: A guide for living in stepfamilies. 1986-87.
