Experience : Research and development, capacity building &

teaching experience of more than 7 years in the areas

of water resources. My research interest includes

water resources planning & management, watershed

management, climate change, hydrologic modeling,

groundwater modelling, irrigation & drainage

engineering, application of advanced techniques

such as soft computing techniques (Fuzzy Logic,

ANFIS), remote sensing and GIS. I have wide

experience in application of statistical techniques in

water resources assessment with respect to

watersheds, sub-watersheds and river basin scales

using different hydrological models such as SWAT,

Editor, Hydrological Sciences Journal of the

International Association of Hydrological Sciences

(IAHS) published by Taylor & Francis. I am also

Joint editor of the Indian Journal of Hydrology

published by Indian Association of Hydrologists

(IAH). I have published a number of research papers

in peer-reviewed international journals and

conferences. I am also serving reviewer for many

reputed international journals. I have written research

proposals and secured funding, and successfully

executing research projects. I am advising graduates

in the field of water resources and hydrology. In

addition, I have been involved in many consultancy

projects dealing with real-life problems. In 2010, I

have awarded Canadian Commonwealth fellowship

by the Canadian Government and worked as Visiting

Research Fellow in the Dept. of Civil & Geological

Engg., University of Saskatchewan, Canada. I have

also received the Ministry of Human Resources

Department (MHRD) fellowship awarded by

Government of India for PhD in the Dept. of Water

Resources Development & Management, IIT

Roorkee during the years 2008 to 2011. I am also

receipt of the fellowship of the Indian Council of

Agriculture and Research, New Delhi for MTech in

Agricultural Engineering (Irrigation & Drainage

Engineering) during 2005 to 2007.
