HANDICAP INTERNATIONAL PROJECT: VIETNAM Handicap International – Vietnam Project (2016-2019): Nominated by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT) to serve as a consultant for Handicap International project in Vietnam. The multi-year project, funded by a US AID grant, involves two phases.

• Phase I is completed and involved the development and publication of rehabilitation guidelines for the care of children with cerebral palsy. These guidelines were approved by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health in the fall of 2017 and will be published and distributed to hospitals and providers in all provinces of Vietnam.

• Phase II is on-going and involves workshop training for therapist, physicians and nurses in Vietnam.
