I am a recent graduate from the University of the West of Scotland with a 2:1 Honours degree in Business studies and I am very eager to use all of the theoretical knowledge of business management that I have gained and put it into a practical environment. There have been many different practical aspects of this degree such as; group work/dynamic, problem solving, research (both individual and group based research) planning and IT skills. These practical aspects were applied in the form of analytical reports, presentations and talking head videos.

Asda Home Shopping Driver (Ayr) from April 2015- ongoing.

Care of van itself, ensure no damage was done to the vans, load/unload vans, keep products safe, delivered on time, return van on time, helpful, polite and courteous to customers. Department operates as a team but out in the van you operate as an individual on the stores behalf.

Warehouse Operator at Datec Technologies (2011-2013)

These tasks were carried out in a team environment so in order to avoid confusion constant communication was necessary as well as cooperation. We were extremely successful as there were very few discrepancies with our paperwork submitted considering we were distributing hundreds of tonnes per week.

I have a firm grasp of Microsoft office. German Language (with limited working proficiency)

Interests + Achievements

Keen sportsman who plays rugby on a weekly basis German Language and Culture which is exemplified by continual self-teaching of the language. Travelling, for business and pleasure Meeting new people and learning about different cultures Voluntarily I was a rugby coach for my local rugby clubs mini/midi section (5-11 year olds) every

summer since I was 18 purely for enjoyment as it enabled me to introduce young kids to a new sport.

Role of Student Erasmus Ambassador for UWS (one of several) in which I encourage fellow students to participate in the Erasmus programme.
