Web Site Creation Supportive of Research

In support of the research conducted by the ASU consortium group of which I am a part of I developed and continue to coordinate with ASU ITTC and supervise a dynamic and ongoing web site dedicated to sharing information on the various related current and future biofuel and biobased products projects conducted on the ASU campus. Faculty research integrates projects from crop growth through product extraction and utilization. The Principle Investigators (PIs) of this consortium include Dr. Paul Armah (Economic analysis of production of specific dedicated bioenergy crops). Dr. Steven Green (Bioenergy Crop Production–Soil Quality); Dr. Elizabeth Hood (Plant Biotechnology and cell wall deconstruction); Dr. Kevin Humphrey (Small engine testing, production of biofuels and plant based products); Dr. Jianfang Xu (Bioethanol production from dedicated energy crops in Arkansas and Algal biodiesel and fermentation engineering); Dr. Gregory Phillips (Application of genetics and biotechnology to improve crop plants); and Dr. Brett Savary (Carbohydrate Chemistry of rice cell wall polysaccharides). The site address is the following http://www.biobasedsolutions.org/ and this web site is also linked to the College of Agriculture & Technology’s web site main page.
