Served the National Cause (Organized Camps in Preventive oncology)
Conducted and organized` various camps on Cancer Prevention and
Awareness – Eleven (11)
1. NCC Camp – on the occasion of Cancer Awareness Day (20th June 2016) a camp
was organized in the Campus of NCC – Aligarh Unit, related to the causes and
preventive measure of cancer and its treatment. Around 300 NCC Cadets (of UP
Girls Batallion) attended the camp.
2. Jamalpur Camp - on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day (31 may 2012) a
roadside camp was organized. Thousands of pamphlets were distributed among
general public. More than 100 peoples pledged to quit smoking.
3. OPD complex (JNMCH) Camp - on the occasion of World Cancer Day (4th
February 2011), a short play on the harmful effect of tobacco consumption was
organized by the doctors. Around 500 peoples visited the camp.
4. Al-Barkat School Camp - to sensitize the young generation especially the school
going children, an awareness camp was organized during the annual festival of
the college. Around 300 students visited the camp and enquired about the ill
effects of smoking and tobacco consumption.
5. Departmental Camp - to sensitize the teaching and nonteaching staff of the
department, a seminar was organized in the department of Radiotherapy, JNMCH,
on the occasion of World Cancer Day dated 4th February 2012.
6. Participated in “Health Check-up & Cancer Detection Camp” organized by
Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Patna at Nalanda on 29th March 2009.
7. Participated in “Health Check-up & Cancer Detection Camp” organized by
