Having spent my entire working career predominantly in sales I feel I have gained a wealth of relevant experience in customer service and knowledge of what is expected from customers in various trades including Building and Construction and Industry. Relishing new challenges and responsibility, I have always been hard working and actively seek to achieve the goals I set for myself. 2009 – 2011- Trade Shop Supervisor / Internal Sales - Bunzl Greenham
In 2009 the delivery side of the business was transferred to our sister branch at Astley and from being fully operational the Warrington Branch then became a Trade shop only. I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the Trade Shop in Warrington including serving customers over the trade counter. Picking orders for customers to collect or for despatch on the delivery vehicle. Taking customer orders over the telephone and dealing with any enquiries or
indeed complaints as and when required and also being given the responsibility of increasing local business.
2008 – 2009 – Senior Internal Sales / Contracts Manager – Bunzl Russell
In 2008 A&E Russell Ltd became part of Bunzl U.K. & Ireland PLC and a senior person within the organisation was sent to oversee the transition of the takeover. I was given the role of producing and agreeing pricing contracts for our local customer base and also working closely alongside the company National Sales department. I was also responsible for the sales people within the branch including two sales assistants and three Trade counter / Warehouse operatives.
2001 – 2008 - Branch Manager – A&E Russell Ltd
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the depot including a staff of 20+. Sales and Profitability, Customer Service, Stock Control, Sales / Purchase Ledger queries, Transport, Warehouse and general office and administration. Built up some loyal business relationships on a local and national scale culminating in the Branch turning over 2 million per annum and also gaining respect for the level of service provided to our customers. Being named Depot Manager and Branch of the year in 2005 ahead of 11 other depots within the A&E Russell chain was a particular highlight.
1998 – 2001 – Trade counter / Sales Assistant – A&E Russell Ltd
In 1998 I was employed as part of a team to build up the Branch from scratch and introduce a company that was an established reputable business in Scotland to the Construction industry in England. The Branch quickly gained notice from the industry with myself at the forefront dealing with new customers face to face and over the telephone.

Hobbies and Interests
When the working day is over I enjoy spending time with my wife and child and socialising with my friends and former colleagues. I enjoy sports
particularly football although I haven’t played for a while (pretty much just watch nowadays). I also enjoy listening to various Musicians and watching live performances where possible.
