1 By tradition CE-Transactions does not have "Associate Editors"; the former EiC served for over 30 years and stood down quite recently (2010); I am one of only a dozen senior reviewers and typically I review 20-40 submissions per quarterly issue; in my experience this is significantly more work than most AE positions; CET has a very fast turn around and is closer in nature to a Letters Journal, although manuscripts are typically 8-9 pages in double column IEEE format. Rejection rates over the period 2011-2013 are in the range of 80%-85%.
