PROMISe III was a federally funded research project focussing on drug interventions

undertaken in pharmacies throughout Australia. The Project required design and

development of a data store suitable for the secure storage of in excess of a million

prescriptionsandassociatedpatientsaswellasseveralthousand interventionsundertaken

duringthecourseofthestudy.

DutiesInconsultationwiththeclientandtheinterstatevendorsofthepharmaceuticaldispensing

softwareutilisedinpharmacies,developacomprehensivefunctionalspecificationtoclearly

articulatetherequirementsandhighleveldesignoftheproposedsystem.

Develop an IEEE829 compliant Test Plan to clearly identify the process of testing the

proposedsystemincludingscope,responsibilities,successcriteriaanddefectresolution.

Develop a matrix of risk and criticality to ensure testing was prioritised to give testing

precedencetoareasofcriticalfunctionalitythathadthehighestpotentialfordefects.

Developindividualtestcasesforeachfunctionalaspectoftheproposedsystem,ensuringall

functionalareasreceivedappropriatetestcoverage.

Manage the functional testing process to ensure maximum coverage of functionality

deliveredduringeachrelease.

Developasuiteofcontroldatatoensureconsistencyofexpectedresultsduringthetesting

processandtoclearlyidentifythetransactionalprocessaffectedbyadefect.

Implementandmanageadefecttrackingandresolutionprocessaswellasmanagetesting

ofresolveddefectsandassociatedregressiontesting.

Inconsultationwith theProjectManager, implementandoverseeachangemanagement

system to ensure changes requested by the client were suitably scoped, costed and

developed.

Prepareperiodicprogressdocumentationrelatingtotestresults,resolvedandoutstanding

defectsandtestcoverage.

Prepare project closure documentation relating to test coverage, defect management,

reflection of the suitability of the processes implemented and discussion of potential

enhancementstotheprocessforfutureiterationsofthesystem.

HED(HedgeEffectivenessDocumentation)The HED Project provided a process for Aurora Energy to examine the effectiveness of

hedgedcontractsandensurecontractswerehedgedinaccordancewithprevailingpolicy.

DutiesDevelopaTestPlantoclearlyidentifytheprocessofregressiontestingtheexistingsystem

includingscope,responsibilities,successcriteriaanddefectresolution.

CreateasuiteoftestcasestotestenhancementsandchangestotheexistingHEDsystem.

Developasuiteofregressionteststoensureongoingdevelopmentdidnotadverselyaffect

theexistingsystem.

Implementandmanageadefecttrackingandresolutionprocessaswellasmanagetesting

ofresolveddefectsandassociatedregressiontesting.

Prepare documentation for the Project Manager relating to test results and defect

resolutionattheconclusionoftestingofeachreleaseofHED.

DytechSolutionsFIND

The FIND system was a custom designed suite of software developed to underpin the

operationoftheTasmanianGovernmentMonetaryPenaltyEnforcementSystem. FINDwas

required to collate fines information frommultiple sources including the SupremeCourt,

Magistrates Court, Tasmania Police, Service Tasmania and the Department of Primary

Industries,WaterandEnvironment. TheroleofFINDwastosupersedeallindividualsystems

operatedseparatelybyvariousfineissuingarmsofGovernmentandcollateissuedfinesinto

onedistinctsystem.

DutiesDevelop a matrix of risk and criticality to ensure testing was prioritised to give testing

Australiancitizensabroadatanygiventimeincludingnames,contactdetails,itinerariesand

travellingcompanions.

DutiesUndertakeanalysisofthedevelopedFunctionalSpecificationtoensuresuitablecoverageof

proposedfunctionsandconsistencyinlogicoftheproposeddesign.
