Computer knowledge:

1. Windows/Linux Operating Systems.2. Programming with FORTRAN and C/C++.3. SIMULATION studies.

Research Experience:I have been actively involved in experimental high energy physics

research since January 2000 when i joined research programme at thePhysics Department, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-India. I worked for myPh.D. thesis to study the dynamics of multiparticle production in relativisticnuclear collisions using the nuclear emulsions data, which was exposed tovarious relativistic beams at AGS, Brookhaven National Laboratory, USA.Most of the work presented in my thesis have been published by me invarious international refereed journals of repute.

I am also working in the international collabortaion ALICE(A Large-IonCollider Experiment) since January 15, 2000. The ALICE collaborationcomprises of around 1000 physicsts and Engineers from 27 countriesincluding Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia and India. The various jobs whichI have taken till date include software as well as the hardware aspects of theproject I have actively participated many times in the fabrication of theprototypes of the 2nd station of the Forward Muon Spectrometer and also inthe fabrication of zeroth chamber at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP),Kolkata.I have also taken part in the installation of detector, its testing and validationand cosmic run at L.H.C, Geneva, Switzerland. I am also involved in thephysics study of ALICE and have assigned with the job of studyingoccurrence of dynamical fluctuations in ultra-relativistic nuclear collisions. The research activities of the ALICE in india have been funded by theDepartment of Atomic Energy (DAE) and Department of Science andTechnolgy (DST), Government of India.

Teaching Experience (UG and PG level) : ~9 years.

One student has recently Submitted his Ph.D. Thesis under mysupervision.I have also guided four M.Sc. (Physics), Four M. Tech students for theirSeminars and Projects.

Current Status:

Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Physics.
