SUMMARY I’m involved in postgraduate teaching and research projects in the fields of
Ocean Engineering and Technology, and Physical Oceanography and Modelling. Marine Hydrodynamics, Advanced Offshore Engineering and Computational Fluid Dynamics are postgraduate courses taught by myself.
My research interests are in the fields of Water Wave Mechanics, Wave Hindcasting and Forecasting, VIV of Marine Pipelines and Risers, Seakeeping of Floating Offshore Platforms, Ocean Renewable Energy and Oil Spill Modeling.
I use various techniques for conducting research projects such as numerical modeling and development, soft computing methods and field measurements.
