gene borne plasmids of local strains of Bacillus thuringiensis

insecticidal specificity.

Transcriptional control of histone nucleosomal protein genes

during the cell cycle of HeLa cervical carcinoma cells. The

goal of these studies was to analyze the regulatory role of

several different transcription factors (e.g. IRF-HiNF-D, a

CDP-1/cdc2/cyclin A and Rb related protein complex) in

histone gene transcription. The results of these studies

contributed to our basic understanding of cell cycle control

and abnormal cell growth control which is observed in cancer-
