Research Experience

Luminescent hybrid materials (ND-PMA-RE) were synthesized by covalently modifying

nanodiamonds (NDs) with pyromellitic acid (PMA) capable of coordinating to lanthanide ions.

A multi-functional nanoplatform with dual-modal imaging and drug-delivering capabilities has been

fabricated by covalently functionalizing nanodiamonds with rare earth complexes.

Multifunctional BaGdF5 nanospheres with mesoporous, luminescent, and magnetic properties was

synthesized as a drug delivery carrier by a hydrothermal method.

Several rare earth nano/micromaterials with various size and morphologies were synthesized. The

growth mechanism and luminescent properties have also been investigated in detail.
