Country : INDIA – Update 7

Dear Valued Customers,

We refer to our earlier Customer Advisory released on 14th April, 2020 and the emerging situation in India due to COVID-19 regulations, would like to keep our customers updated of the latest situation.

1. India Lockdown has been extended till 3rd May, 2020. 2. From 20th April, based on the success of control mechanisms of lock down, conditional withdrawal

Operational Updates for India 16-Apr

Terminal CY & Quay side operations continues to be normal.

Adani Hazira terminal has announced suspension of export gate-in from Apr 17, 1800 hrs till further notice as CY is congested

Vessels touching China ports will have a mandatory quarantine for 14 days , those vessels getting delayed in docking. Terminals are accommodating the vessels with berths sliding.

Adani Mundra, APMT GTI & Krishnapatnam has announced force Majeure

Vessel Nhava Sheva :

Week 15 PS3 San Diego Bridge delayed by 4 days due to 14 days quarantine rule

Any Specific comments Below terminals have offered free storage extension during lock down period

Adani Hazira & Mundra - 10 days from Mar 22 to Apr 14th

Adani Kattupalli - 15 days from Mar 22 to Apr 14 ,

APMT Pipavav - Apr 1st till Apr 15th

APMT Mumbai, GTI - Mar 22 until Apr 14

PSA-BMCT - storage free extension by 3 days until Apr 15, 2020

Doc Updates for India 16-Apr

Export Bill of Lading Process Exports : Original BL – Customers are encouraged to use eB/L facility and take print outs. Exports : Seaway Bill is being released and sent to customers, through email (as per the current process).

For New shipments, customers are encouraged to take seaway Bill or request for a direct surrender in ONE system.

For in-transit BL, customers are being encouraged to follow our Bank Guarantee process which is already in place.

Import Delivery Order Process eDO’s issued to customers, as per ongoing process.

BL surrender Process Doc Counters are open in Mumbai, Delhi, Gandhidham, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Veraval, Cochin and Nhava sheva with skeletal staff with limited working days/ working hours. Drop box facility is also available for customers. Customers can contact the respective branch locations as per the contact details provided in ONE India Website, for necessary best possible guidance.

Mumbai 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard Most of the CFS in Nhava-sheva is operating partially.

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

Rail ops continue to be smooth.

Improvement reported in the transportation & expected to further improve after 20th April.

Surveyors Surveyor (Master Marine Services) is currently working from home for form-13 & form-11 issuance

ICD Not applicable

Any other specific comments EXIM movement of Dry remains affected with factories closed. However some improvement in export / import shipments expected after 20th April.

Export movement of perishables in dry & Reefers further improving.

Export bookings are issued as per our normal process.

Chennai 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard 1) Terminals are not able to accommodate more DPD requests as the deliveries are not happening and these boxes are congesting the terminal, now all containers will be marked for CFS. CFS space situation is also not very healthy.

2) Empty depots are operational with skeleton staff.

1) Trucking situation has improved but far from normal. Major reason is driver shortage.

Surveyors 1) Surveyors are working from home.

ICD 2) Train services to ICD Bangalore continue with reduced frequency.

Any other specific comments 1) MAA - Docs counter is open on Mon, Wed and Fri . (0900-1200 hrs). Otherwise all other staff are working from home.

2) Inside terminal operations are smooth at PSA CITPL (TEI & CCX service) & DP World CCTL (IO3 Service) .

3) Kattupalli terminal operating system is functional, but their website is still having some issue. Our TEI and CCX Service calls Adani Kattupalli terminal .Due to manpower shortage, the operations were initially impacted, now terminal has deployed additional manpower and managing the situation.

Ludhiana 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard Curfew passes have been issued from facility provider for EXIM stakeholders for one person of the organisation.

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

Rail movement to/from gateway port is normal now.

Surveyors Surveyors are operational now with skeleton staff.

ICD ICD's are operating with Skeleton staff.

Any other specific comments 4 districts have been marked as red zone in Punjab at this moment.

Kolkata 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard CFS movement is normal ( Empty/Laden - In & Out)

Non CFS empty yard is partially working

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

Normal .Road movement is on the lesser side but picking up gradually.

Surveyors Normal

ICD Normal

Any other specific comments Haldia Port functional now .One feeder being called for berthing per day

Kolkata Port is functioning normally but they have arranged for thorough medical check up for all persons attending dock work

Local road movement with EXIM cargo has eased up than

before. Kolkata Port has announced Ground rent / port storage

waiver during the period of lock down.

Hyderabad 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard Business as usual but the movement continue to be slow.

BATCO CFS - Pharma Reefer movement is on. Empty yard movements very slow.

ICD Sanathnagar (CONCOR) ICD Thimmapur ( DP World) Train movement Ex- Nhava sheva is on and the business as usual

Slow truck movement - Major movements are from Food / pharma industries

Export / Import gate in / out movement impacted due to shortage of labour

Kept 1 - 2 field staff @ CONCOR/Continental Multimodal Terminals Ltd

ICD CONCOR staff working as usual - Shortage of handling labour

Clearing agents/forwarders – few have already commenced coming to office for clearances . Many of them working from home.

ONE Hyderabad office opened and working with 50 % staff. All the staff can be reached on handphones.

Vizag 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard Empty / Laden movement @ CFS commenced with 70 % work force

terminal to CFS - Besides IB laden empty also commenced moving.

Truckers / support staff availability still an issue.

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

Rail movement as usual. Road transportation is slow due to non - availability of truckers and handling agents. Seafood movement from Odisha state commenced.

Seafood / Pharma reefer and dry cargo movement commenced movements are getting steady.

Vizag - ICD Birgunj by rail movement is on.

Surveyors Vizag office documentation counter opened and remaining staff available on handphones.

ICD CONCOR is open

Deliveries @ ICD Birgunj is ON.

Any other specific comments Export / Import truck movement is on for dry / reefers of seafood and pharma.

Dry cargo movement of other commodities is expected to see some relaxation after 20th April.

Port gate in / Gate out movement are steady.

Port operations - Visakha Container Terminal Pvt Ltd - Business as usual as vessels are berthing but there are delays in berthing. Export and import movement as usual. Courier services commenced between 7 to 10 a.m.

Ahmedabad 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard Empty Yards are working full time, we are taking the help of empty yard Jay Kali for allotment of seal for ICD Khodiyar stuffing. we are keeping a close track on the allotment of seals.

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

Transportation movement has improved now we are getting booking and the containers have starting getting picked up

Surveyors Master Marine our surveyors still not able to reach ICD Khodiyar and Sanand, but ICD team are helping us with allotment of boxes and daily reports.

We are taking the help of Pvt Yard Jay Kali for allotment of seals as surveyors still unable to reach Khodiyar and Sanand

ICD ICD Khodiyar and Sanand issued passes to CHA's and their staff so that people can come to Khodiyar and Sanand. special places are designated to them which is in new building. They are been advised to keep social distance while in ICD

Any other specific comments ICD Ankleshwar and Baroda the movement is less but getting stabilised. Seal allotment issues has been address and now the customers can get seal from CWC for Baroda and ICD Ankleshwar Master Marine person is staying very close to ICD.

Gandhidham 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard CFS are fully operational.

Labour - 4 gangs in day time while 2 gangs during night hours.

Carting activity at CFS is ON.

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

Shortage of drivers/transporters - still an issue.

Surveyors Working from home.

ICD Not Applicable.

Any other specific comments Cargo/Container transportation movement eased out to some extent. Customers are getting

permission for stuffing / de-stuffing of cargo activities from Collector for their factories.

Western ICD 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard Indore - operational with skeleton staff / some container pickups are also happening from customer

Nagpur - operational with skeleton staff

Pune - Empty yards are working smooth

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

ICD Talegaon & ICD Chakan movement are happening without much issue as their movement are allowed by road to port without any issue .

Rail movement to ICD TIHI / Mandideep / Dhannad are going without any issue for Import containers .

Surveyors All surveyors are working from Home and available over Phone and emails.

ICD : Maharashtra state : ICD MIHAN / DLI ( ICD Borkhedi ) , ICD talegoan / ICD Chakan ( APMT chakan) . Madhya Pradesh state: ICD TIHI / ICD Dhannad / ICD Mandideep

All 7 ICD's in Western ICD locations are working with skeleton staff of ICD & skeleton staff of custom official . ICD 's bonded transportation is happening without any issue as Customs are issuing special passes to ICD Bonded trucks for NSA to ICD Movement . Rail Movement from NSA to respective ICD's are happening without any issue . ICD like TIHI / Mandideep are getting congested as Importer are not taking delivery from ICD .

Any other specific comments Some of the customers in Pune & Mandideep are taking special permission to stuff the export container in factory for which cargo was ready before lockdown .

Some of the Food packaging material exporter and Pharma bulk drug manufacturer are getting permission to stuff the containers on regular basis and arrange the transportation .

Bangalore 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard ICD Whitefield / Marigold CFS / ICD Hosur all are functioning with skeleton staff

Trailer movements are badly impacted since majority of drivers / labourers have returned to their home town. Moreover due to lockdown all facilities are closed and hence negligible loading/unloading activities are happening. Post PM Announcement & guideline issued we may hear some relaxation with respect to EXIM trade from State Govt. post 20th April 2020.

Surveyors Master Marine Services has closed their operation out of Bangalore until lockdown period.

M&R Vendor have also closed their functions till 20.04.20. Post Announcement from Govt they will decide whether to resume operations or not.

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

No disruption of rail services. There are few road movements from Chennai to Hosur and vice versa since it lies within the borders of Tamil Nadu. Movements to Marigold are badly hit.

ICD Train services to ICD Bangalore continues with less frequency.

Any other specific comments Bangalore office - 100% staff work from home. Customers can contact our Bangalore team for understanding the document release process.

Cochin 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard Presently all operations in CFS and Empty yards are functioning well. Understand that staff strength also increased and back to normal.

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

More relaxations have been given to the trailer movements especially for reefers and food stuff shipments. Rail movement is not applicable for Cochin.

Surveyors Surveyors are working.

ICD Not Applicable.

Any other specific comments Since more relaxation has been given to reefer movements, for the coming weeks, reefer movements will take place in good manner. As ONE do not have reefer equipment in cochin it is not applicable for ONE.

Tuticorin 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard CFS is working normally. Empty Depots are opening only in day time 0900 HRS to 1800 HRS

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

Road transportation has been affected badly, market is facing TRUCK and DRIVER shortage. Special passes were provided by Sub Collector for the drivers who carry essential commodities. Total lockdown and Police monitoring is going on. Essential purchase allowed only from 0600-1300 hrs, Export is minimal but import is normal.

Surveyors Master Marine Services are functioning normally

ICD Not applicable

Any other specific comments No restriction for REEFER cargo, mostly CFS stuffing is happening as cargo from outstation is very minimal, expecting good cargo flow after 20th APR 2020

Veraval 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard Working with skeleton staff.

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

Rail movement normal but Road Transportation closed due to lockdown,

Surveyors Working from home

ICD Not applicable

Any other specific comments Seafood and other reefer cargo movement resume slowly as normal due to it has been included in essential services

Gujarat government on Saturday lifted the restrictions for the fishing community and allowed them to venture into the sea for the catch., This also opens up the businesses connected with fisheries including processing, packaging, cold chain maintenance and transportation.

Police become more strict as few positive cases of COVID 19 found in Veraval. Not allowing local movement of people/vehicles.

Delhi 16-Apr

CFS/Empty Yard ICD TKD has started online services of various activities for customers. All other ICDS are working with limited staff. ONE Delhi is accepting documents.

All other activities are being done online.

Customers are requested to apply for SEAWAY Bs/l for export shipments.

Rail/Road transportation for movement of containers

Rail movement is normal with improved transit time between the various ICDs and Gateway ports.

Borders are sealed as on date.

Doc counter is functional with skeletal staff on Mon, Wed, Fri from 1100 hrs to 1500 hrs. Drop Box facility is also available to our customers. Surveyors are working from home from all ICDS, except at Piyala and Dadri where they are available. THey are not available at PPG but can offer online service.

Surveyors are issuing seals and other functions at regular intervals.

Customs will be available in full strength from 20th at all ports.

Export bookings are open for all ports.

Containers and Seal allotment is smooth.
