2012: A Year in Review By: Mr. Sarawut Wongpeng, Director - Customer and Network Services
In a few more days, we will bid the year 2012 goodbye. We wish all our customers great cele-
brations as you welcome the new year. We celebrate our achievements this year and at same time antic-
ipate greater successes in the year 2013. First on the list is the launching of our sixth satellite, Thaicom-6
which will be our company’s first breakthrough in the African region. Our department has done several
preparations such as upgrade of our
facility for better service to all our
existing and prospective customers.
Our Thaicom-6 carrier monitoring
system is also on progress.
We hope to have more in-
formation to share with everyone in
the future issues of our newsletter.
We also welcome interesting stories
from all our customers so we can
share and learn from each other.
Lastly, we sincerely thank
our patrons for your continued support and confidence in our services. Moreover, we look forward to
earnestly serve you again in the year 2013 and beyond. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2013!!!!

Brief update:
New Antenna for Thaicom-6
A new 11 meter antenna
has risen at our facility. This
will be used by our satellite
control department for
Thaicom-6 telemetry, track-
ing and command. We will
also be using this antenna
for monitoring carriers in
Thaicom-6.
Thaicom Technology Broad-
casting Seminar 2012 was
held last November 29, 2012
to update our local custom-
ers (TV broadcasters) about
the latest technologies that
our Teleport recently em-
ployed.
Basic Satellite Communica-
tion Training was held last
month November 2012 for
local customers. Next sched-
ule will be informed early
next year.
