Overview

Customer Reviews & Testimonials Extension for Magento 2 collects

reviews from your happy customers to make your store a trustworthy

shopping place and improve conversions. It helps you display

customers’ reviews on various website pages in a customizable block.

Magento Reviews extension allows your customers to post

testimonials in an easy-to-fill form.

Extension Features

Configurable Testimonial Form

✓ Facilitate your customers with a speedy process of posting a review with the help of quick testimonial form. You can add four custom fields in form to obtain additional information.

Export testimonials

✓ You can export testimonials either in CSV or XML file format. Have backup of the testimonials to get them published on a revamped website with a few clicks.

Email Notifications

✓ Configure sending of emails to client and moderator. Write a custom email Subject and select an email template for both the moderator and the client.

Layout Options

✓ Magento customer reviews extension allows you to select from 4 available layouts for testimonials page for the convenience of customers.

Testimonials Block

✓ Display user reviews anywhere on your website with the help of testimonials block.

Add & Approve Testimonials

✓ You can manually approve or disapprove testimonials to prevent spam, abusive and irrelevant reviews.



User Guide

After installation of extension, make sure the setup is upgraded and static-contents are

deployed. Login to admin panel and flush you Magento cache storage.

Now, login in to the backend by providing your username and password. Then manage the

Testimonial by following the below path.

Admin Menu → FME Extensions → Manage Testimonials

Manage Testimonials

Admin can add new testimonial from backend by clicking the “Add New Testimonials”. A form

will be shown having different Fields like:

Company Name – You can add the company Name. Its optional for users

Contact Name – In this field you have to enter yours name, it’s mandatory for

you to enter

Email – In this field you have to enter your email on which you will get the

notification of “Testimonial Addition Success”.

Website – You have to enter the URL of your company

Order – Adman can enter the order of testimonial on which testimonial is

shown on frontend

Image – Select the image that will displayed along the testimonial

Featured – Admin can titled the testimonial as featured or not

Short Description – You can enter the short description of testimonial

Testimonial – You can enter the detailed description of testimonial



Actions

Edit – Admin can edit the testimonials by clicking the “Select” of respected

testimonial and then click the “Edit”

Delete – Similarly admin can delete the testimonials by clicking the “Select” of

respected testimonial and then click the “Delete”

Multiple Editing – Admin can edit the multiple testimonials by selecting the

testimonial and the edit the testimonials

Multiple Delete – Admin can delete the multiple testimonial

Multiple Enable – Admin can enable the multiple testimonial

Multiple Disable – Admin can disable the multiple testimonial

How to Configure Customer Reviews & Testimonials:

Once logged in to the Admin Panel go to the “Configurations”. You can enter there from Admin Menu

> FME Extensions.

General Settings

Enable Module – Admin can Enable/Disable the module.

Testimonial header – You can chose the suitable header of testimonial

Mass- Actions

Actions



Testimonial header Description – Here you can chose the suitable description

of testimonials

Add Testimonial Settings

Image – Here Admin can select the default image that will posted in testimonial if

use doesn’t select the picture

Customer Allowed – It give authority to admin that who can add testimonial

Open Window Form – Admin can select the opening style of testimonial form

This extension provide 3 different styles I-E popup , Slide and New page

Testimonial List

Page Title – Here you can add the suitable title of the page

Identifier – Here admin user can add suitable identifier that is use to access the

Testimonial page

Number of Testimonials – Admin can chose the number of testimonials shown on

testimonial page.

Character Per Testimonial – Admin selects the content of testimonial by adding

the number of character shown per testimonial.

Meta keyword and Meta Description – Admin can add the meta key word and can

add the meta description

Read More Link - Admin can have authority to enable or disable the “Read More

Link ” in testimonial list

Show Image With Testimonials – Admin can Enable or disable the Image from



the Testimonial content

Sort Order – Admin can arrange the testimonial by two orders I-E latest or given

order

Google Captcha Key

Enable Captcha – Here admin can add or remove the captcha in the form

Site key & Secret Key – If you want to add the captcha, you have to get the site

key and Secret key from Gmail , go to https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin

and login into gmail account and get the site key and secret key .

Show/Hide Form Field

Testimonial form field contain 6 different input fields like company name, contact name, contact

email, website URL, contact photo and short description. Admin can enable/ disable these fields

Manage Custom Form Field

This Extension Provide admin user to add 4 extra field in the frontend user’s form by providing the

label of field and also making it enable.

Admin can disable the fields.



Testimonial Block Setting

Enable Block - Admin can Enable/ Disable the testimonial block

Block Type – Admin user can select the Type of block (featured or random ).

Block Title – Here you can add the suitable title of the block

Number of Testimonials in Block – Admin can chose the Number of testimonials

shown on testimonial Block.

Character Per Testimonial Block – Admin select the content of testimonial in

block by adding the number of character shown per Testimonial inside the block.

Read More Link - Admin can have authority to enable or disable the “Read More

Link ” In testimonial in block

Select Slider Controls – Admin can control sliding setting of block by making it

static or auto-sliceable.

Slider Effect Duration – Admin can add the slider duration

Allow Pagination – On frontend, inside the block admin can also enable/disable

the pagination on block

Email Option

Email To – Admin can Enter the Admin Email address, on which Admin can get the

notification, when new testimonial is address

Email template – Admin user can select desire template of email.



SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

URL suffix – admin user can enter the URL suffix like .html, .phtml etc.

On front-end there are three main portion

Testimonial Header

In testimonial header, there are three things I-E testimonial heading, Testimonial

Description and Add testimonial Button,

Testimonial heading and testimonial description is defined by admin user through

configurations.

On clicking the “Add Testimonial” button user will see the input field form; the style of

form is configured by the admin user through configurations.

Testimonial List

In single testimonial list there are two main portions

Testimonial detail

User detail

In testimonial detail, there is short description as a heading, and testimonial description is as

content of testimonial. If the content exceeds the content defined by admin, there is option of

“Read more”. Just click on it and get the whole detail of testimonial. Similarly you want to read

the limited testimonial. Just click the “Read less”.

User detail will be shown in user detail portion, Where name of user, company of user, website

link will be display along with user image if admin allow.



Testimonial Block

In testimonial block, testimonials are sliding from right to left and vise versa. Block can be static

or sliding depends upon the admin configurations. In testimonial block, Short description is use

as heading of each testimonial. And testimonial description is as content of testimonial with

“Read More” and “Read Less” Links. Sliding duration and pagination is also defined by the

admin through configurations.
