Information about the financial situation

The program requires you to check one of the following 2 options:

• By default, The client’s financial situation has not changed ischecked. If the client’s situation has changed, check the otheroption and proceed from there.

• If you check The client’s financial situation has changed, youmust submit a new investor profile signed by the client.

Investor profile A company-approved investor profile must be included in the file.

• There are 2 ways add a new profile:• Upload a copy of the signed F51-122A investor profile

(scanned and saved to your computer)• Impor t an electronic profile from the Vision software• Please note that the changes made to the investor profile

effective as of MARCH 2018 are not integrated in the Vision tool.

• To update an existing profile, click on The client’s financial situation has changed. The Investor profile section will become editable and you can enter the new information.

Browse button

If you are not sure how to upload a document using the Browse button, ask your supervisor for help or send a hard copy of the document to your service centre. The information will be added to your client’s file. Note that if you do not attach the required documents, the program will not allow you to complete the transaction. You can put the switch request on hold and go back to it once you have received the documents.

The investor profile must match the portfolio allocation. Any divergence will require the client’s written authorization.

You can use the Browse button to upload a file saved on your computer and add it to your client’s file.

First scan the document on your agency’s photocopier . Then attach the scanned document to an email and send it to your email address.

Save the attachment on your computer (in a specific folder or on your desktop). Then you can locate the file using the Browse button.

How to scan a document 1 . Place the document to be scanned on the glass sur face of the

pr inter .2 . Press the “email” button that appears in the pr inter menu.3 . Select your name in the menu. If you are not already listed in the

directory for your agency, ask your supervisor to add yourbusiness email address to it.

4 . Press “select" when you find your name.5 . Star t the scan by clicking on the “scan” button.

In your email inbox on your computer , you will receive an emailfrom the pr inter including an attached file.

Save this file to your desktop or any other location on yourcomputer . You will then be able to access your file using the“browse” button in the application.

In order to access your file, it must be saved on your computerand not on that of your assistant or anyone else. If you arecollaborating with another person, your computers must be linkedto a shared network for you to be able to share your files.

If you are not using a shared network and you are working withanother person (an assistant) who enters transactions for you, anyfiles that must be attached when enter ing a transaction must beforwarded to that person via email.

Limited Trading Authorization (LTA) F51-2 01A

The LTA allows you to make cer tain transactions without obtaining the client’s signature, namely: Switches between funds in the same contract, reallocations and transfers between different accounts The LTA does not expire. One LTA is required per contract.

• To attach a copy of an LTA to the client’s file, click Browse andselect the file you have scanned and saved on your computer .

Browse button You can use the Browse button to upload a file saved on your computer and add it to your client’s file.

W ith a few exceptions, switch transactions can be done for all segregated funds. These transaction types are allowed under most contracts without affecting guarantee matur ity dates or value.

• Fund series If there is only one fund ser ies in the contract, the funds in that ser ies will be automatically displayed.

If there is more than one ser ies, use the dropdown menu to choose the one in which you would like to switch between funds.

• You can switch funds in the same contract.

• You may only switch to a fund in another ser ies if it is permittedunder the contract.

• Since fund sources are ser ies-specific, you must open a new adda switch block for each ser ies in which you would like to make aswitch.

Transaction type

• Load type If all funds in the contract have the same load type and come from the same ser ies, the information will be automatically displayed and you do not have to choose anything.

Switches between funds are only permitted within the same load type. If the contract includes more than one load type, use the Choose dropdown menu to select the one for which you would like to make a switch.

If the contract includes multiple ser ies or load types, you can click Add a switch, which will open a new section where you can choose another switch request for a different ser ies or load type.

Source • You must choose whether the switch will be a percentage (%), indollars ($ ) or in units. You may only choose one option perswitch request.

• Use the field provided to enter the percentage, dollar amount ornumber of units to switch for each fund. If you leave the fieldempty, that fund will be disregarded.

Destination: 2 options

• Add an investment fund To add a new fund to the contract, click Add an investment fund. TheFund selection window will open.

You can add a new fund using the Fund No. or the following dropdown menus: Series | Fund Category | Available Funds

• Only funds available for this ser ies and load type will be displayed.

• You can add more than one new fund. Clicking the OK buttonbr ings you back to the previous screen.

• You can also delete an added fund by clicking the delete button(X) at the end of each row.

• Enter the desired percentage (%) in the Destination section foreach fund added.

The program will not allow you to set a dollar amount or numberof units for the destination fund because:

• The unit value is rarely used• The dollar value ($ ) cannot be used because the unit

value will not be the same when the transaction goesthrough

The total of the monies transfer red into the destination funds must equal 1 00 %.

• Enter a desired percentage (%) for reallocation.

• The program will not allow you to set a dollar amount or numberof units for the destination fund because:

value will not be the same when the transaction goesthrough

• The total of the monies transfer red into the destination fundsmust equal 1 00 %.

• Funds with no % will be disregarded dur ing the switch.

Add a switch Since switches must be made within the same load type, the program will allow you to do multiple switch transactions for a single contract.

• You can add an unlimited number of switch requests.

• You can also cancel one or more switch requests if the resultsweren’t what you expected.

Cancel the switch Clicking this button will cancel the transaction in progress and delete all data you have entered. This action cannot be undone.

A message will appear asking you to confirm the cancellation before the data is deleted.

Next W hen you click the Next button, the program saves the page and then validates the transaction. One or more messages may appear at the top of your screen following the validation. The contract provisions related to what funds can be added, load types, guarantees, etc. have all been integrated into the program.

Four message types may be displayed: • Blue: Information message• Green: Confirmation message• Yellow: W arning message• Red: Error message

The program will not allow you to continue until you cor rect the er rors indicated in a red er ror message. That is not the case for blue, green or yellow messages.

By default, information entered on the Instructions page will be saved in the Incomplete transactions list in the My applications tab.

TRANSACTION SUMMARY

INSTRUCTIONS The Instructions section shows a table summar izing the instructions you entered in the previous step for all switch blocks entered.

Switch requested This section shows a summary of the transactions that will be sent to the administrative system for processing. This data is given for illustration purposes only.

The transactions processed in the contract will be determined using the unit value calculated on the valuation date upon which the switch request is confirmed and approved by the company (as required) before 4 :00 p.m. EST.

TRANSACTION SUMMARY

Portfolio allocation This section allows you to view: • The allocation recommended for the client’s profile• The por tfolio allocation before the transaction• The por tfolio allocation after the transaction is car r ied out

• This information tells you whether you are being consistent with your client’s investor profile.

• If the switch request is not consistent with your client’s profile, you must get your client’s author ization to complete the transaction.

• In case of divergence, in the Author ization window at the bottom of the same screen, you can send an email or a form to obtain your client’s consent.

• You can also update your client’s profile to be consistent with the requested transactions. To do so, go back to Step 1 – Instructions and update the profile data. The program will not allow you to submit the transaction without your client’s wr itten consent.

• Note that the client’s portfolio allocation includes monies invested in GIFs and DIFs and it will take into account the AIT.

• The profile on file must match your client’s portfolio allocation. In the event of a divergence, you must obtain your client’s signature.

TRANSACTION SUMMARY

Guarantee maturity date W hen a switch is requested in an IAG SRP contract to the Ecoflex 10 0 / 10 0 ser ies for the first t ime, you must enter a matur ity date based on the client’s age.

If you do not enter a date, the program will calculate one but it will not be displayed on-screen.

Hold This button allows you to save your work and come back to it later . No data will be sent to the company. This is a handy feature to use when you are waiting for your client to return a signed document or you are not sure what transaction to make. You can retr ieve your information later in the Incomplete transactions under the My Applications tab.

Validate W hen you click the Validate button, the transaction data you have entered is validated. A number of contract provisions and compliance requirements have been integrated into the program.

• One or more impor tant messages may appear after validation.Their purpose is to inform you of the r isks and restr ictionsinherent to the transaction you are requesting. Please readthem carefully.

• Once all acceptance cr iter ia have been met, a new action buttonwill appear , asking you to confirm the transaction, which will beprocessed in that day’s batch of transactions.

• If you would rather save your data and come back to it later , youcan retr ieve your information later in the Incompletetransactions under the M y Applications tab.

Authorization If the acceptance cr iter ia have not been met (client’s signature required, new investor profile or missing LTA), a new Author ization section opens at the bottom of the screen.

If your client’s signature is required, the program gives you two options:

• Email: The program will generate an email and open yourmailbox. All you have to do is enter your client’s address andsend the email. To do this, click the Email option button andthen click Generate.

• Form: The program will produce a document summar izing thetransaction you entered. The document will contain a signaturesection. Pr int the document and have your client sign it. Thensend the document as an attachment with the switch requestthat you scanned and saved on your computer . To do this, clickthe Form option button and then click Generate.

• Even if all the required documents are on file, you must checkthe box that says I confirm that I contacted my client beforerequesting this transaction.

You can save these documents to your client’s file by clicking the Save the document button.

The profile must match your client’s portfolio allocation. In the event of divergence, you must obtain your client’s signature.

REBALANCING

The rebalancing option allows you to change the allocation of the assets held in each fund in the contract. For example, you can use the rebalancing feature to update the init ially defined allocation to br ing it in line with your client’s investor profile.

For all unregistered contracts, a switch or rebalancing will have tax implications for your client.

• Fund series Use the Ser ies dropdown menu to choose the fund ser ies for which you would like to rebalance. If there is only one ser ies in the contract, the funds from that ser ies will be displayed automatically.

• You can only rebalance funds within the same ser ies.

• Load type If all funds in the contract have the same load type and come from the same ser ies, the information will be automatically displayed and you do not have to choose anything.

• Rebalancing is only permitted within the same load type. If thecontract includes more than one load type, select the one forthe fund you would like to rebalance.

• If the contract includes multiple ser ies or load types, you canclick Add a switch, which will open a new Instructions sectionwhere you can choose another ser ies or load type.
