•Cuzco is in the Andes Mountains, and their agriculture allowed them to create an area that could be fertilized to grow foods.•Created Terrace farming because their land was apart of the mountains. They also didn’t need to pump water because it would just run-off.

•Incas were first to plant and produce potatoes.•Corn was used in religious ceremonies.•Quinoa used for cereal, flour, and soup.

Potatoes, corn, and quinoa

were used to store the dry food so it would keep from spoiling. Which could feed their entire kingdom for a few years, but was kept in case of famine or war.
