Education and Qualifications University of Liverpool undergraduate studying BA Geography - September 2014 to 2017 Modules include Human Geography topics such as research methods, statistics, GIS and in depth knowledge on urban geographies and development. Statistical module has given a more in depth and detailed understanding of numerical and statistical knowledge. The use of GIS has developed and spatial thinking, problem solving and basic computer skills. Individual and group projects are a key element in all three years. Team work is an essential part of the majority of module and group presentations and group based research is mandatory. In the last year of education I have undertaken the Extended Project qualification run by the AQA exam

board. This involved choosing a topic of interest and carrying out an independent research project on that

topic. This is equivalent to an AS level- half an A level.

Employment/Work Experience

September 2014 to present - Arc recruitment. Part time job whist at University mainly doing hospitality work. Working at different places from week to week emphasises the importance of initiative

From the age of 16 until 18 - Part time waitress at The Worlds End pub. This entailed providing friendly and welcoming customer service, being able to work under pressure and at times dealing with difficult customer's.

September 2013 to February 2014 - Mercedes Benz design and development centre as a restaurant operative whilst I saved money for travelling. The standard of customer service was paramount and time management was key to completing tasks throughout the day.

For 2 years I was a member of the Naval section of the Combined Cadet Force - this involved strict discipline whilst learning skills including canoeing, shooting and drill.

July 2013 to September 2013 - Full Time for Nationwide Building Society as a call-centre Mortgage Advisor - this involved answering calls, using the Nationwide system to assist customers on their mortgage application.

Interests

During my gap year I travelled to Iceland, American, Australia, Thailand, Fiji and InterRailed around Europe this summer experiencing different cultures, cuisines and meeting new people.

Keen Horse enthusiast and rider and have owned own horse since the age of 13. Keen member of the Geography and Canoeing society at university. Full UK clean driving licence and car owner.
