Looking after Shutdown/Turnaround Planning engineer (Instrumentation). Performing following activities: Job list & scope freezing, Job time estimation, Job planning: Estimating material, resources and manpower (MS Project/Primavera P6), Preparing Shutdown/turnaround organogram along with other disciplines, Preparation of job packs along with execution team, Job Scheduling. Carrying Challenging sessions for squeezing overall schedule, Resource scheduling along with Mechanical and Electrical planning engineers, Monitoring of turnaround/Shutdown using MS Project/Primavera P6 and Excel based S- Curve. Presenting progress to top management for contingency based decisions, Managing resources during turnaround, Recording observations and deviations from planning and Preparing Turnaround report post-turnaround. Maintenance Planner: Responsible for Planning daily maintenance activities for the entire complex instrumentation department in terms for manpower resource estimation and material requirement. Arranging and coordinating resources. Preparing weekly and monthly planning reports.

Inventory/Material management: Including the monitoring of stock controlled and procure to consume items. Tracking of insurance spares and modeling of various items based on recent consumption history

Champion of MIQA implementation. Coordinated for all activities like PIAM manual preparation, scope identification and baseline audits for small bore connection, critical NRVs and valves, expansion bellows, spring supports and SS

corrosion, short bolting, Insulation, painting and fabrication jobs. Understanding of all aspects of production activities which is interconnected with

the instrumentation. Effective resource planning/ optimization, focusing on profitability. Good communication skills. Strong leadership with proven ability to motivate team members towards achieving targets.

Fluent user of SAP PM and PS Module. Work as SAP Power User, including equipment and PM schedules creation and updation in SAP

Presenting monthly review reports to top management. Responsible for making weekly, monthly and daily planning for all maintenance

activities for 08 nos plants in the complex. Calculation the manpower, material and resource requirement and coordinating with contractor. Preparation of daily and monthly feedback and planned Vs unplanned job compliance status.

Working as E&M Lead for the site for implementation of Business Transformation project as well as implementation of Meridium APM software/SAP

Doing SIS (Safety instrumented System) audits/recommendation for all plants of the complex. Improving design faults for instrumentation systems to improve reliability.

Preparing annual maintenance budget and budget monitoring for the complex. Certified ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 Lead Auditor. Internal auditor for ISO:

9001, ISO: 14001 and ISO: 18001. Working close with Site MR (Mgmt Representative). Fully involved in organizing third party audits by DNV. Preparing schedules, organizing audit and final close out discussions with DNV Auditors. Being projected as next Site MR.

Part of FST for implementing FSMS ISO 22000:2005 standard for PET plant Implementation of various maintenance strategies for various instruments like

Control Valves, SOVs, Thermowells and Transmitters.

Reliance Industries Limited (erstwhile IPCL). EOEG Plant Oct. 2005 till Oct. 2006 as Field Operations & Panel Engineer

Learned plant process, PFDs, P&IDs,DCS (TDC 3000), PLCs, Basic Instrumentation & Control systems of the plant. Study of various Gas Analyzers of the plant.

Completed ‘Study of Interlocks for Ethylene Oxide Plant' as a part of training. Aspects of mechanical and electrical systems. Study of open & closed control

loops, Maintaining plant instrumentation as plant maintenance engineer. Calibration of various field instruments like pressure/flow transmitters, Servomex

oxygen analyzer, control valve calibration, configuration of temperature barriers (MTL, p&f), trip amplifiers etc.

Worked on almost all field instruments. Control valves and accessories, transmitters, DCS/PLC. Worked on Furnace damper, thermowells/thermocouples. Building of control loops

Manpower handling: Supervising eight technical non-supervisory staff and other contract employees.

CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Successfully planned shutdown of Gas Cracker Plant (GCU), High Density Polyethylene plant (HDPE), Ethylene Oxide Ethylene Glycol (EOEG) plant & Ethane Propane Recovery plant (EPRU) simultaneously. Also handled shutdowns of Vinyl Chloro Monomer (VCM) plant, Polyvinyl Monomer (PVC) Plant, Captive Power plant-I & II including HGPI shutdown & IBR inspection shutdown. CPP pant has both steam and gas turbines for power and also includes HRSG and Utility boilers for steam generation.

Working with external agencies for maintenance and FCO (Field Change Orders). Was involved in the maintenance of plant for the major shutdown. Was a part of successful re-commissioning of VCM plant (Cracker Section) as

Instrumentation planning/field engineer. Reconstructed control loops Knowledge of Integrated Management System (IMS). Coordinator for the

department. Involved in implementing TQM (Total Quality Management). Implemented

Internal Customer satisfaction Index project across complex. Recognized for dedicated efforts in CSI

Involved in Implementing Re-engineered SAP across the complex. Now responsible for implementing APM and Standard SAP solution at the site.

Part of various functional teams including MIQA (Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance) as a part of PSM (Process Safety Management) initiative. Central coordinator for the same.

Studied and Report prepared on "Control valve Failure Analysis" for the complex. Helped reduce control valve failures.
