PERSONAL SUMMARY
An enthusiastic welder and fabricator with a practical background of successfully fabricating and welding stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium, using a multitude of welding and fabrication processes. WORK EXPERIENCE
EVG Landscapes Ltd – Plymouth Self Employed Welder and Fabricator May 2016 – Present
Working on a variety of projects using Steel MIG and Steel MMA welding processes. Creating bespoke items from scratch with limited means and finishing them to a high standard.
Duties:
Positional Steel MIG and MMA welding. Mild steel railing and gates fabrication and welding. Accurately measuring and examining work pieces for
defects and errors. Using a 4” angle grinder to cut and shape material. Working to a high, professional standard. Aiding in other areas of the work, such as tarmacking,
where needed. Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment. Abiding by health and safety at all times.

Working as a temporary worker, weld-repairing concrete moulds and helping with the production process where I was needed.

Working on a variety of projects, using the steel MIG welding process, hand and power tools; grinders, mag-drills etc and Oxy-Propane cutting equipment to fabricate and weld components for steel structures, railings and balconies.
Duties:
Downhand steel MIG welding. Structural Steel, railing and balcony fabrication and welding. Accurately measuring and examining work pieces for defects and errors. Accurately cutting work pieces with burning equipment or grinder. Accurately cutting work pieces with guillotine and bandsaws. Cleaning work pieces ready for painting and galvanising. Notifying managers of any issues regarding material, design or equipment. Preheating components using Oxy-Propane. Working to high, professional standards following technical drawings and hand drawn
designs. Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment. Carrying out safe lifting operations with the aid of a forklift.
Pendennis Shipyard – Falmouth Apprentice Welder and Fabricator September 2010 – August 2014
Building and refitting Super Yachts, both motor and sailing, using; steel, aluminium and stainless MIG, MIG Flux Core, TIG and MMA welding and fabrication processes. Using Oxy-Acetylene and plasma cutting processes as well as using a multitude of hand and power tools i.e. grinders, airsaws, di-grinders, measuring equipment etc, to deliver a professional service.
Duties:
Welding and fabricating various components for the Super Yachts in Aluminium, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel.
Welding using the MMA, MIG, MIG Flux Core and TIG processes. Accurately measuring and examining work pieces for defects and errors. Accurately cutting work pieces with burning equipment or grinder. Accurately cutting work pieces with guillotine and bandsaws.

specifications. Preheating workpieces using Oxy-Acetylene and Oxy-Propane. Working and keeping to tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard. Operating the gantry crane, lifting various items on and off the yachts. Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
