9. Mount the power module assembly to the yoke inthe proper orientation and torque the bolts to 15 lbfft.

Note

The fail-open unit will already be againstthe travel stops prior to applying airpressure.

10. Stroke the actuator against the travel stops.

11. Stroke the actuator down the desired travel.

12. Spin the stem connector up until it touches theend of the canister and align the stem connector holeswith holes in the end of the canister that are 90 de-grees from the yoke windows (opposite the glandflange).

13. Install the stem connector bolts and washers andtighten as far as possible by hand.

14. If necessary, stroke the canister up and awayfrom the valve to allow access to the stem connector

bolts with an open end wrench.

15. Tighten the bolts until the stem connector is flushwith the end of the canister and torque to 15 lbfft.

16. Follow the procedure entitled FIELDVUEInstru-ment Installationin the System 9000 instruction manu-al, Form 5408.
