Corrado Allora Abbondi is Counsel of BSVA
Studio Legale Associato. Corrado advises clients
on Business, Commercial and Corporate matters,
Alternative Investment Funds, ICT, Electronic
and Mobility Payments; relevant Litigation;
Insolvency and Restructuring.
He has acquired an in-depth experience in
corporate and commercial matters assisting
Italian and foreign clients in different kind of
transactions and he has worked on cases
including large scale complex commercial and
corporate litigation, acting on behalf of a range of
domestic and foreign companies or individuals in
disputes before Italian courts and arbitration
panels.
Corrado has also gained significant experience in restructuring and insolvency
matters, in particular within the framework of restructuring agreements and
consolidation plans, insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings in general and in
relation to agreements and composition with creditors, banks and suppliers,
transfer of assets to creditors and/or third parties in these proceedings,
acquiring an in-depth experience in matters related to company crisis and
recovery, in legal transactions and operations concerning insolvency, in trial
agreements and out of court settlements.
For more than 10 years Corrado has been associated with International law
firms in Milan and with leading Italian law firms assisting, on the matters he is
specialized, Italian and multinational clients in different business sectors such
as automotive, fashion, telecommunication, IT, electronics, chemical. More
recently he also provided assistance to companies operating in electronic
payment systems, foods and restaurants deals, to a Malta-based Investment
Fund since its establishment and authorization process under the AIFMD
regulation, as well.
In 2012 he became a founding member of DIFENDE (www.difende.it), a group
of young and skilled lawyers intended to develop the legal profession to new
opportunities and broaden it to higher boundaries.
Corrado graduated in Law from the University of Milan in 1998, he is admitted to
practice since 2001 and he is a member of Milan Bar and speaks fluently Italian
and English.
