The major goal of this project was to conduct an ecological CBPR study of 400 restaurant workers and to develop and test a new observational tool for exploring restaurant conditions in Chinatown’s 108 restaurants from the perspective of worker health and safety. Findings were then to be used, if appropriate, to help support policy changes that could improve the conditions for restaurant workers in San Francisco.
