    This was also the first time that two TridentTechnical College students attended the UMStudent Forum which was held in Evansville,

    Indiana this year. Shadana Moses and JulietHawkins used their extensive dance back-ground to participate in the liturgical dance inthe Saturday evening worship service. JustinRitter and Jackson Kimbrell also learn muchabout the structure and polity of the UMC.

    This was the 8th summer that spent 10 dayswith the Conference Youth Choir known as theSpirit Singers. It was 10 days of beautiful mu-sice and joyful fellowship. The initial churchtour was a whirlwind of singing and meetingwonderful people in our great conference.

    Congratulations to all of the HS seniors. Re-member to look for your Wesley Foundationfamily when you arrive at your prospective col-leges.

    This was a semester of firsts. It was thefirst time we participated in the Holstonconferences Divine Rhythm, a collegestudent spiritual event. What began as awish of Drew Goodson, Citadel cadet andCWF events coordinator, ended with Wesleystudents from The Citadel, College of

    Charleston, Winthrop University and Fur-man University joining students from acrossthe Holston conference for a weekend ofspirit-filled worship, dynamic speakers andsweet fellowship. We unanimously agreedthat this would be an annual event!

    Another first was the College of Charlestonstudents attending the historic Dock StreetTheatres pay as you will night. We at-tended the musical, Putnam County SpellingBee. Justin Ritter, a C of C senior andyours truly were two of the guest spellerstaken from the audience! Oh what a night!

    Graduates

    George Martin graduated from the Citadel on May 7th,

    2011. He will be attending the Charleston Law Schoolthis fall. George was a faithful member of the Wesleyfamily during his four years at the Citadel. Vaya con Di-os, George. Remember that the doors and hearts ofyour Wesley family is always opened to you!

    cant minister to the young adults of yourchurch unless we know about them.

    Volunteer. Are you willing to serve on ourboard of directors? Are you able to spon-sor a meal at one of our gatherings? Doyou have an interesting program you wishto present to college students? Giving ofyourself is a critical way to support theWesley Foundation.

    Stay in Touch. Are you an alumni? We

    want to hear from you and know how youare doing. Give us a call or send an emailwith your new contact information as itchanges.
