Ⅰ. Introduction to Korea Institute of R&D Human Resources Development (KIRD)

Purpose KIRD was established to boost the effect of investment in R&D by motivating

Ⅲ. Cyber Research Ethics Training Overview

Purpose1) To strengthen the understanding of research ethics and create a dedicated culture around it

among researchers through online training courses that can be provided to a large number

of users anytime and anywhere

2) To prevent any misconduct and/or malpractice in research in advance and enhance the level

of practice regarding research ethics through case-by-case study

Course overview Customized research ethics training course provided by target subject and field

1) Target subjects: All (potential) researchers who are interested in the research ethics

2) Course hours:2 hours per course

3) Criteria for course completion: Those who have completed 90% of the courses provided (a

mandatory survey included)

4) Course fee:Free

Basic course : Customized curriculum for different subjects

*NSE:Natural Science and Engineering, HSS: Humanities and Social Studies** (Number): Number of sessions

Advanced course : Case study-based curriculum by major

※ For those who have completed the basic course but need to refresh training due to expiration of effective period

(3 years).
