Cymatherapy® Perfusion Thermography:
Preliminary InvestigationThermography, a type of infrared imaging, detects radiation in the infrared range of
the electromagnetic spectrum
(roughly 900–14,000 nanometers) producing images of that radiation.
As a noninvasive bioinstrument it measuresvasoactive peripheral perfusion.

Perfusion is the delivery of arterial blood that supplies nutrients and oxygen to
capillary beds in biological tissue.

Preliminary Investigation
Adequate blood supply is vital to the health of all cells and organ systems and essential for sustaining life.
The function of the circulatory system is to deliver oxygen and nutrients to all cells.
It also removes carbon dioxide and waste products maintaining optimal tissue pH.

IschemiaIschemia
Without viable perfusion, organ systems suffer; the sequeli of ischemic cascade and cellular degradation ensues, thus life ends.
Since oxygen is mainly bound to hemoglobin in red blood cells, insufficient blood supply causes tissue to become hypoxic, or, if no oxygen is supplied at all, anoxic.
Anoxia can cause necrosis (cell death).

The goal of this preliminary investigation was to study the value of the code for Artery Support, in increasing arterial flow to the areas of Cymatherapy® application.
With the successful results of this random control (normal) group it was decided that experimental groups should also be studied.

The following slides show a preliminary investigation of a random control group.
Thermographs were obtained before and after administering the code for Artery
Support, for 10 minutes to both forearms in supination (an area from the wrist to
the elbow with palm side up.)

Preliminary Investigation: Control Group Summary
The previous slides did show an increase in perfusion to the areas of application of
Cymatherapy. Surprisingly, increased perfusion to sites distal
to the site of application were also seen.
The following slides show a preliminary study of a random control group.
Thermographs were obtained before and after administering the code for Artery
Support for 10 minutes to the back.

Preliminary Investigation: SummaryThe results of these preliminary investigations were very promising. Objective improvements
were shown in the control groups: both subjective and objective improvements as well as functional outcomes were shown in
the experimental groups.
These very promising results warrant further study.
