The Houston Automobile Dealers Association (HADA) HADA plans to award more than (100) one hundred, $3000 scholarships, to full or part-time employees of member dealerships and/or high school seniors currently enrolled in the ASE Education Foundation Program. The applicant may choose the accredited college, university, technical school or trade school of his or her choice beginning the Fall semester of 2020. Must be a graduating high school senior currently enrolled in the Automotive Service Ex-cellence-Education Foundation (ASE-EF) program.

[KS1] Water Environment Federation – State SJWP Competition Program Description: The Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) is the world's most prestigious youth award for a water-related science project. The prize taps into the unlimited potential of today's high school students as they seek to address current and future water challenges. Eligibility/Requirements: Open to all high school students in grades 9-12 who have reached the age of 15 by August 1st of the competition year, and have conducted a water-science research project. Hazlewood Act for Children of Veterans CHILD (LEGACY ACT) Eligible Veterans may assign or transfer unused hours of exemption eligibility to a child under certain conditions. A child (legacy recipient) must:
Be classified by the institution as a Texas resident;
Be the biological child, stepchild, adopted child, or claimed as a dependent in the current or previous tax year;
Be 25 years old or younger on the first day of the semester or term for which the exemption is claimed (unless granted an extension due to a qualifying illness or debilitating condition); and
Meet the GPA requirement of the institution’s satisfactory academic progress policy in a degree or certificate program as determined by the institution’s financial aid policy and, as an undergraduate student, not be considered to have attempted an excessive amount of credit hours.

The American Graphic Institute Design Thinking scholarship offers multiple scholarships to encourage the use of design and creative thinking across various disciplines and fields. Several scholarships are available each year for students enrolled in any accredited post-secondary degree-granting program in the United States, including undergraduate and post-graduate programs. There are also separate scholarships available for students attending American Graphics Institute programs as well.
To apply for the Design Thinking scholarship submit an essay of between 500 and 1500 words describing how you anticipate design thinking or digital design tools will impact you and your career choice. High School Oratorical Scholarship Program Young orators earn some of the most generous college scholarships available to high school students. High school students under age 20 are eligible.
Competition begins at the post level and advances to a state competition. Legion department representatives certify one winner per state to the national contest, where department winners compete against each other in two speaking rounds. The contest

caps off with a final round that decides the three top finishers.
Speaking subjects must be on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution, with some emphasis on the duties and obligations of citizens to our government.
Speeches are eight to 10 minutes long; three- to five-minute speeches on an assigned topic also are part of the contest.
The overall national contest winner gets an $18,000 scholarship. Second place takes home $16,000, and third gets $14,000. Each department (state) winner who is certified into and participates in the national contest’s first round receives a $1,500 scholarship. Those who advance past the first round receive an additional $1,500 scholarship.

Texas A&M University Corps The Corps of Cadets offers scholarships ranging in value from $1,000 – $18,000 that carry no military obligation. Corps scholarships are both need and merit based, with many reserved for students entering the Corps as freshmen cadets. In addition, most Corps scholarships qualify non-Texas residents for a non-resident tuition waiver. There are four (4) basic scholarships available to both incoming and returning cadets. In addition, Easterwood Scholarships, which are reserved for members of the Corps of Cadets, are administered through the university Scholarship and Financial Aid (SFA) Office.
