The old town “Ledra”, is inside the venetian walls that were built in 1567. Apart from the old town, Lefkosia has got many other sights. After the invasion most of the habitants of Ammohostos moved to Agia Napa, a small village near Ammochostos. Nowadays Agia Napa is the most famous place in Cyprus for sun holidays and its bustling nightlife. In the middle of the town there is an old monastery which was built during the crusades. Famous beaches in Agia Napa are the Nissi beach, the Agia Thekla beach and the Limanaki beach.
