CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS
Students should report to the institute as per the working hours of the
institute.
Institute believes in promoting a safe and efficient environment by
enforcing behavioral standards. All students must uphold academic
integrity, respect all persons and their rights, property and safety.
For insuring the safety, health and well being of students in the
institute/hostel, the students shall follow the institutional rules and
directions from institute/hostel authorities.
Student should attain all the classes regularly and maintain at least 75%
attendance for appearing at university examination.
Students should maintain highest standard of discipline and should not
indulge in any illegal activity.
With the vision of the institute students should adopt and maintain
academic, cultural and social atmosphere.
To develop scientific temper students should access all educational
opportunities and resources available at the institute and make good use
of them to prosper academically.
Campus should be smoking free.
The use and possession of alcohol, tobacco, drugs or any other
intoxicants in the campus and hostel is prevented and punishable.
The students should not cluster in verandah or gather in front of offices
or campus road.
In the premises of the institute the students should maintain silence.
Use of mobile phones is prohibited in the class room, library, computer
center and examination hall.
In case of criminal activity or violation of law and order observed in the
institute, it will be reported to law enforcement authorities.
Student should exhibit highest order of decency and should not deface,
damage, destroy or cause any loss in any manner to public, private or
institute property.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS
Verbal and non-verbal misconducts such as unfair comments, lewd remarks/phone
calls/SMS/email, stalking are prohibited in order to provide safe and conducive
environment to girls/ladies and such misconducts will fetch strict action by
authorities.
Any act of discrimination based on gender, caste, race, religion or religious beliefs,
color, region, language, disability, or sexual orientation, marital or family status,
physical or mental disability, gender identity etc. is prohibited.
Participating in activities including organizing meetings and procession without
permission from the institute, accepting membership of religious or terrorist groups
banned by Government, unauthorized possession and use of
weapons/ammunitions/ explosives contrary to law or policy is prohibited.
Student shall not indulge in any act of ragging pertaining to Maharashtra
Prohibition of Ragging act 1999.
Students are expected not to interact, on behalf of the Institute, with media
representatives or invite media persons on to the campus without the permission of
the Institute authorities.
Students are not permitted to either audio or video record lectures in class rooms or
actions of other students, faculty, or staff without prior permission.
Students are not permitted to provide audio and video clippings of any activity on
the campus to media without prior permission.
Theft or abuse of the Institute computers and other electronic resources such as
computer and electronic communications facilities, systems, and services which
includes unauthorized entry, use, tamper, etc. of Institute property or facilities, is
punishable.
Student shall take part actively in curricular, co-curricular and organization
activities.
During examination students are not allowed to carry or use unauthorized material.
Also malpractices like individual/mass copying, indulgence in leakage of question
paper etc. are punishable as per government act.
Signing on behalf of someone else on any academic/administrative document
without due authorization is strictly prohibited in campus.
In case of infringement, a student may be suspended for a specified period of time
and/or evoke other disciplinary actions as decided by competent authorities.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR TEACHERS
All faculty members shall report to the institute as per the working hours
of the institute and should be available in the campus.
Faculty should sign in attendance muster kept in the office while
reporting for duty.
Faculty should carry out academic, administrative and organizational
activities assigned to them by reporting authorities from time to time.
Faculty should inform late arrival and early leaving with proper reason.
For official duties/personal work, faculties should report out and in time
in the movement register.
Faculties can avail various leaves abiding the service rules and
regulations set by the institute.
All the leaves except Casual Leave and Medical Leave shall be pre
sanctioned.
Medical leave will be sanctioned only after the submission of Medical
Certificate issued by competent authority.
Faculty should attend institute in proper uniform /dress code.
Faculties should not involve themselves in any immoral act which may
cause defamation to institute or management.
Faculties are not allowed to involve himself/herself in any form of
political activity inside or outside of the campus.
Faculties should not distribute any kind of pamphlets or marketing
materials to the students/staff in the campus.
Any instructions and task given by the higher authority in the form of
circular or notice must be completed within stipulated time.
Use of mobile phone is strictly prohibited while taking the class.
Faculty shall attend the meeting convened by higher authority.
Faculty should act in a manner that upholds the honors and dignity of the
profession.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR TEACHERS
Faculty shall respect the learner's right and dignity without prejudice to
gender, color, age, race, religion, place of origin, language, sexual
orientation, social economic background, family status etc.
Faculty shall not use corporal punishment on students, not cause mental
torture, not behave in a manner improper and disparaging to the prestige
of the institute.
Faculty should not engage themselves in any private business and trade.
Faculty must collaborate with administrators, other faculties and
employees in order to provide a safe and positive learning experience for
students.
Faculty should not behave in a vindictive manner towards students for
any reason.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR NON-TEACHING STAFF
Staff members shall report to the institute as per the working hours of the institute
and should be available in the campus.
Staff should sign in attendance muster kept in the office while reporting for duty.
Staff should carry out academic, administrative and organizational activities
assigned to them by reporting authorities from time to time.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR GOVERNING BODY
Governing body of the institute shall follow and respect mandatory regulations
laid by the apex bodies like SPPU, DTE and AICTE.
Governing body shall channelize directives for administration and development
through the head of the institute.
The regular functioning and policy formulation of the governing body should
be unbiased and free from discriminations based on gender, color, age, race,
religion, place of origin, language, sexual orientation, social economic
background, family status etc.
In order to lead by example the governing body members are expected to set
high moral, ethical and professional standards. They shall act as a conscious
keeper of the organization.
The governing body should be liberal towards the staff to bestow them with
necessary freedom and flexibility to perform their duties efficiently.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR THE PRINCIPAL
The Principal shall follow and respect mandatory regulations laid by the apex
bodies like SPPU, DTE and AICTE.
The Principal shall play a key role in the formulation and channelization of the
policies and directives for academic, administration and development of the
institute through various committees and HODs.
The Principal should act in an unbiased manner and free from discriminations
based on gender, color, age, race, religion, place of origin, language, sexual
orientation, social economic background, family status etc.
The Principal should be liberal towards the staff to bestow them with the
necessary freedom and flexibility to perform their duties efficiently.
The Principal shall be the administrative authority in all disciplinary matters for
taking appropriate action against the misconduct. His decision shall be final and
binding on the staff and students.
The Principal shall set high moral, ethical and professional standards.
