    Resilient livelihood

    Resilience

    The ability of a system, community or society exposed to hazards to resist,absorb, accommodate to and recover from the effects of a hazard in atimely and efficient manner, including through the preservation andrestoration of its essential basic structures and functions

    Resilient Livelihood = The ability of livelihood to resist, absorb, accommodateto and recover from the effects of hazards

    Agriculture as the main livelihood of the people

    Resilient Livelihood = Resilient Agriculture

    Resilient agriculture = The ability of agricultural system to resist, absorb,accommodate to and recover from the effects of hazards (droughts, floods,landslides, hails, soil erosions, pests, diseases, etc.)
