Normal Chairby Fabian Schwaerzler
The Normal Chair by Fabian Schwaerzler is the solution to the question of how to have a func-tional design piece at an affordable price. It’s an example of the “shape of everyday things” cel-ebrated by the supernormal duo, to whom it also wink with its name. Contemporary beauty, func-tionality and versatility for a chair that fits perfectly a dining room, a restaurant or a conference hall. Not too much, the shape of the Normal Chair is just clever: designed to be resistant over the years, stackable, plain; it’s the multifunctional ele-ment which can easily become part of your ordi-nary life. Realized in beech wood, recognized for its aes-thetic qualities, this chair come out with four color combinations: natural wood, black and two mix: black seat and wooden legs an the opposite, black legs with a wooden seat.
To enter the market with a competitive product we decided to use plywood beech with a ultra-sim-plified structure: the constitutive elements, seat and legs, are essential and minimal in order to be integrated without effort in your everyday life.A last annotation: as a real product of the swiss culture it’s produced in ski factory; and for sure it will be bringer of lovely times in the same way as a slope.

Cresta Chairby Jörg Boner
Designed by the talented Jörg Boner from Zurich, the Cresta Chair combines the robustness of the traditional chair of the Swiss mountains with con-temporary aesthetics and modern technologies of processing wood. The pure pine energy radiating from Cresta Chair is concentrated in the jointure. It is the first shell chair made of solid wood, fabricated with the fin-ger joint technology, connecting a seat and a back in a unique streamlined structure, used for the first time at this length. The shape and thickness of every part of the Cresta Chair have been sculpted to look delicate but remains sturdy and ensures excellent stability. Oval rather than circular legs seem to be slim from the front and stronger when you look at the profile. But also the front legs have been pushed back so all of them use the same joints to create a focal point and thus a new “K” shape to sit on.Produced of solid wood, the Cresta Chair, with its contrast between a raw look and a smooth feel-
ing appearance, would as easily fit into a country cottage as well as into a stylish apartment in a city tower, and for many years to come, thanks to its durability and timeless beauty. This is also possible thanks to the contemporary selection of colors, that can fit different personalities: from the minimalistic shades of black and white to the Scandinavian allure of pink. The Cresta Chair is the answer to the question of how to sit comfortably on a piece of solid wood without feeling like you’re sitting on a bench. The form of the Cresta Chair has been designed to hug the curves of your body offering a long-lasting comfort. By blending tradition with a contemporary approach, the Cresta Chair represents a natural evolution of one of the most emblematic chairs of Swiss heritage, Stabelle, a traditional chair furnish-ing Swiss mountain inns and restaurants since the 16th century.

Riviera Tables Familyby Alfredo Häberli
Designed by Argentine-Zurich Alfredo Häberli, the Riviera collection is mobile, versatile and multi-pur-pose with its coffee and bedside tables. The tables are all the same yet different, like members of the same family with different personalities and their own unique DNA. We wanted to slim down the material as much as possible to create a striking contrast between the powerful stone and delicate design. Each table has as few parts as possible in homage to the piece’s original structure: the tops fit into vertical panels and their weight and gravity give the product its structure and stability.Given its open air roots, the idea was to bring the outdoors inside the home and use the tables indi-vidually or as a nest. The ingenious game created by the imbrication of the different parts allows, in a larger scale, the creation of a mineral stone living room. The round platters are sculpted on the edge of the mounts or slightly overhang, the edges pol-ished. The entire piece has a matt finish.
The Riviera collection’s design and materials pay tribute to the natural stone tables found in “grot-tos”. The tables at these Ticino valley inns are often made up of a heavy top sitting on top of two blocks of stone for the community to dine “al fresco”. The Riviera valley, which provides irrigation to all of Ticino, is also the original centre of the canton’s stone market. DADADUM has imbued its Ticino heritage into this collection.

These really graphic pieces feature a beautiful combination of geomet-ric shapes deeply-rooted in our archaic memory. How many days until the next holidays? The Gregory Calendar is a playful and funny calen-dar (not only) for children. At the beginning of ev-ery month you have a black page with small white numbers that seem to be spread randomly, but after a month, tracing every day a line from date to date, a creature will become visible. They show an understanding of, and capacity for, complexity and contrast: seemingly fragile yet resilient, at once artisanal yet also industrial, assuredly sophisticated yet without guile.
