MARKET WRAP

RM seed edges higher on limited stocks

Chana ends down on profit booking

Soy oil up on positive global cues

Guar gum ends up on fresh buying

Guar seed edges up on weak sowing

Pepper ends down marginally to profit booking

Turmeric hits lower circuit & contract low

Pepper rebounded smartly today from its low to end marginally down and in intraday is

expected to trade sideways to up due to lower arrival in the market while supply crunch

and fresh buying will support the prices in near term. Though, profit booking at higher

level could cap its gains. Cardamom prices are expected to trade sideways to negative

due to subdued demand in the physical market and higher arrival. Turmeric prices

ended down on lower circuit hitting contract low and in intraday is expected to trade

sideways to negative as higher arrival from major producing regions are keeping prices

down complimented by subdued demand in the market. Guar Gum in intraday will likely

continue its uptrend and trade positive due to weaker sowing and fresh buying at lower

levels while positive demand outlook will support the prices at lower levels as well.

Chana is expected to trade sideways to negative due to higher arrivals in the market

and profit booking at higher levels. Though, fresh buying at lower level and lower

production estimates can support the prices.
