Opposition’s delegation rejected the draft statement presented by Syria’s delegation on combating terrorism during the morning ses-sion, in presence of UN Envoy to Syria Lakh-dar Brahimi, while Syria’s delegation stressed in the draft statement not to support persons involved in terrorist acts and to intervene in Syria’s affairs, asking the attendants their full commitment to the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic, its independence and territori-al unity and integrity , acting seriously, closely and urgently to fight terrorism and seek out armed terrorist organizations throughout the Syrian Arab Republic and setting up the exec-utive mechanisms to achieve this objective.In related context, Syrian Information Minister considered that opposition delegation rejec-tion to the draft statement on combating ter-rorism was completely scandalous.

After an official invitation by Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov to chairman of the coalition, the Syrian Na-tional Coalition announced that Chairman of the Coali-tion –Ahmad Jarba will go to Moscow on 3th- February un-til 4th and will head a delega-tion of the Syrian Opposition.
