As also appreciated by the WHO. The central idea of strategy of Government of Sindh is to STOP TRANSMISSION through Community Response and Strict Quarantine. Community Response has been sought with the support of mass media and mHealth (mobile-Health). A 24/7 Control Room was established at Health Department for any coordination & information on COVID-19. Daily Decisions are being made for surveillance, improvements, interventions & safety advisories being issued by Health Department. Senior Technical Officers of Health Departments are deputed to look after specific tasks as directed by The Honorable chief Minister Sindh. Rapid/Emergency Response teams are made at 29 Districts under the leadership & administration of Deputy Commissioners & Commissioners. All the teams are well equipped with PPE supplies. Proper Quarantine Rooms & Isolation Wards are established in every district, Karachi & Sukkur in particular. Government has procured sufficient quantity of Testing Kits & there is enough stock available to meet any shortfall. . All Districts have prepared their prepared contingency plan for implementation of quarantine and isolation facilities to combat any emergency situation. All pilgrims from Taftan are being tested and quarantined with all facilities at Sukkur in First Phase. 2355 pilgrims from Iran who came after 15 th January 2020 have been tracked and they have completed their quarantined period of 14 days. .
