saLe termsThe highest bidder is to be the buyer. If any dispute arises between two bid-ders, sole authority to settle the dispute as he sees fit is reserved by the auctioneer, and his decision shall be fi-nal. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Terms of the sale are cash; personal checks are considered cash. All Cana-dian buyers must pay in U.S. funds or equivalent.

Horses are at the buyer’s ex-pense, risk, and responsibil-ity from the time of purchase, but no delivery will be made until final settlement has been made. The buyer must make arrangements for the care of his horse if it is not taken on sale day.

All registration papers will be held by the sellers until all checks clear the bank, normally about two weeks. At such time, they along with the transfer forms and fees, will be mailed to AQHA for transfer to the new own-

ers. Buyers will be charged the $25 transfer fee on the Quarter Horses, and this will be added to the purchase price. If they are not a cur-rent member of AQHA, they will be billed another $25 membership fee by AQHA before papers are returned. If any buyers wish to obtain papers on sale day, they must pay in cash or certified check.

Health certificates will be is-sued for transportation pur-poses sale day on request by Oahe Veterinary Clinic. Horses will all be Coggins tested. Brand clearance available.

This colt was hand raised because of some issues at birth but it hasn’t stopped him any. His dam is a sweet mare with great conformation and she produces some big, leggy, good looking colts that will do anything that is asked of them. His siblings are calm natured and willing.

This dam has a whole lot of run in her pedigree and she is the mother of our junior stallion Rockstar. We have had a few colts out of the Woody/Jaggars union and we have been pleased with the results. The mare is a well bred, big boned, fine headed, black mare with a really nice disposition and she passes these attributes on to her foals.

We are extremely excited about our newest stallion – FA ROCKSTAR.

He is by Eddie Stinson SI 111 – The fastest son of the great Dash Ta Fame standing at stud, running out over $200,000. In 2013 Eddie Stinson was the youngest stallion among Leading Sires at age 11. He made that chart with his very first crop of performance age foals (4 year olds in 2013)! This colt’s granddam, Willows Maisy, was always a favorite with some of the local ranchers, as she always produced good, honest, ranch horses. This colt was this dam’s first foal and he has both Woody and Drifter in his bloodlines. If you are looking for a versatile prospect, you would be one year closer with this yearling. He had his wolf teeth pulled when he was gelded.

This yearling also has a full weanling sister in the sale- FA Bora Bora Ghazi (lot 14). This filly’s dam is a thoroughbred that ran on the track with success and has quite the racing lineage behind her (see weanling’s write up). Mr Speedy has a long line of winners in his pedigree including his full sister that was a winner in the 2015 Dash and Dance barrel futurity. His mother is one of three daughters of our BHR Missy Socks and is a maternal brother to BHR Frenchies Socks. Frenchies Socks progeny have tallied up winnings of over $300,000 in the barrel world. certainly has the physique and look of a winner. Mr Speedy was wire cut last year a couple days prior to the sale. He is healed up and ready to go for the 2016 sale as a yearling gelding.

BHR Super Frost is a classy, dark palomino who carries extra chrome. He has a great personality that passes on to his progeny. We have pasture bred him, and he is very respectful to the mares and foals and doesn’t have a scratch on him. We are getting great reports across the country from the owners of Super Frost colts on how smart, athletic and how easy going they are. BHR Super Deck was one of the greatest mares we have ever raised. She not only had AAA speed and agility, but was also one of the nicest dis-position horses one the ranch. Over the past decade we have taken pride in raising all our mares from babies. All the mares are tame and

halter broke. Some are broke to ride. They are very easy to catch and will come when called or fed. They will also load well in trailers because our pastures are not on the location of the farm. Due to less pasture and time we are making the tough choice of letting some of our mares go. We have chosen these first

three mares because they still have many years of breeding left in them and should adapt easier into someone elses herd. The two younger mares are young enough they could be broke to ride. All mares have been exposed back for a 2017 foal. We will have the applications for the 2017 foals by the end of December 2016 to send to the new owners of the mares.
