Biomass

Biomass converted to gas and ash In the updraft gasifier is the gas produced. Due to low gas velocity through the biomass layer most particles are kept in the bed and few are transported to the combustion zone.

The temperature in the ash layer is kept at 100oC, hence low maintenance and long lifetime of screws

Gas is burned Gascombustion chamber designed for low NOx, CO and dust emissions.The radiation from the gas combustion transfers heat to the top of the biomass layer resulting in bed height of only 2 m.
